Single Source

Eliminate the responsibility of overseeing multiple subcontractors; the homeowner has only one entity to work with. Design, project scoping, budgeting, permits, construction issues, change orders and billing are all routed through DBS Remodel.

Accountability

Rather than a parcelized level of responsibility of the classic design-bid-build; design-build provides an integrated solution for the homeowner. This moves the project away from “finger pointing” that is often commonplace in contemporary construction projects, and allows the homeowner to look to one entity with any questions or concerns.

The three vital components of a remodel; Design, Job Scope, and Project Investment can be worked on simultaneously which will expedite the process.

1. Introduction Appointment

It all starts with an introduction, and with the communication tools of today and DBS Remodel’s own set of tools, there are lots of ways to connect with us. You can call us, send us an email, fill a form, or show up for a free seminar.

DBS Remodel knows the process of remodeling is difficult. That’s why we walk you through the entire process from introduction and education to the completion of the project.

Our initial complementary consultation is an opportunity to conduct a two way interview. This visit is to learn more about your remodeling ideas, identify preliminary budget ranges and address your concerns / trepidations about remodeling your home. We will walk you through the remodeling process that DBS Remodel has crafted leaning on over 37 years of experience in the industry.

2. Comprehensive Project Evaluation (CPE)

The professional CPE agreement delivers the three key components essential to make a sound remodeling investment. This service includes architectural design, the composition of a meticulous job scope and a precise project investment. It is a vital step to ensuring a successful remodeling experience.

Avoid the risk and ambiguity of an “estimate” and become an empowered, educated consumer. A Comprehensive Project Evaluation is more than just a rough price, and being cautious and thorough on the front end, will keep you from disappointment after the remodel. 3. Contrast Signing

During the contracting stage, you can feel confident and clearly understand our commitment with you, before signing anything! Our contract walks you through your project timeframe, payment schedule, terms/conditions and includes all components of the CPE service.

We know contracts can be nerve-racking for a homeowner. We are happy to answer any question you may have, and we want to ensure you are confident in your decision. Don’t know what a well-written contract looks like? Read more on this in our “Learning Center”.

4. Launch Meeting

From our experience, the most challenging task for a homeowner during the remodeling process is product selection. Due to the endless options and numerous vendors available today, this stage of the remodeling process can be overwhelming.

DBS Remodel takes the worry off of your mind by having a system to simplify the selection process. We will professionally assist you through this process step by step.

5. Pre-Construction Meeting

Prior to project commencement, we will conduct a Pre-Construction meeting. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet your assigned Project Manager (PM) and address any additional concerns or questions you may have. We will use this platform to discuss logistical information that will be critical to your project’s success. This exchange is great because it prepares us to be a good guest in your home.

6. Project Construction

Relax and let the fun begin! You have worked very hard to get to this point and now you can rest assured that will complete your project exactly as you’d imagined! We have worked diligently over the past 37 years to develop professional systems, values, and a culture all leading towards an exceptional remodeling experience.

7. Exit Interview

The exit interview is an opportunity for DBS Remodel to take the time to gather your feedback, and gather invaluable information. At this meeting, we encourage homeowners to share feedback (both positive and negative), which helps to provide us with information to help us create strategies for improvement. A financial summary review, warranty presentation and access to our exclusive Handyman Services are also addressed and presented at this meeting, and most importantly, this meeting is an opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your business and friendship.
