DBS Remodel wins Business Excellence Award

“Brian Altmann knows what his customers want. That’s because he keeps asking them. And then, he keeps delivering it.

Altmann’s dedication to top-notch customer service and performance has done more than provide a solid footing for his 28-year-old business. It’s also earned his company, DBS Remodel in Poughkeepsie, the Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation’s 2014 Business Excellence Award for Small Business.

‘It makes me proud of what our team has accomplished,’ said Altmann. ‘And it’s just very nice to be recognized for such hard work that goes in on our part, to have the type of company that we’ve been able to build.’

Ron Foster, owner of Foster Flooring and Carpet in Staatsburg, has worked with DBS Remodel from the start and said Altmann’s work is impeccable.

‘We do work for a lot of contractors, but I’ve never met anyone more detail-oriented as Brian,’Foster said. ‘That’s why it’s such a pleasure for me, because his jobs are so well organized and clean.’
