MJM Color, Inc. is a locally owned small business providing professional painting services in the Dutchess County, NY area. We are fully insured, offer free estimates, and the work is completed by our small team of skilled painters who work directly for our company.

Owner Matt Mason, a 20 year painting veteran, has been running the company full time since 2004. MJM Color offers full interior and exterior professional painting services.

Interior services include ceilings, walls, windows, doors, trim, bathrooms, cabinets, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, basements, floors, custom accent walls and decorative faux finishes. Exterior services include power-washing, and painting and/or staining surfaces such as siding, windows, doors, trim, shutters, concrete, stucco, patios, decks, and fences. We offer brush, roll, and professional spray application depending on the surface and painting requirements.

Surface preparation can be just as important as the actual painting. Surface preparations can account for a large portion of time invested into a job, and the level of preparations included will directly affect the price. The most common interior/exterior preparations can include scraping, sanding, power-washing, caulking, priming, repairing holes, cracks, nail pops, blocking stains, and taking care of any other issues that may requiring attention prior to paint application. These pre-paint preparations can be completed to the level specified by you, depending on your budget and needs. We offer detailed typed written estimates that clearly state the scope of work included, and are always happy to answer any questions you may have. We are neat, clean, and will treat your home, property, family, and pets with respect.
