Owner and founder of MJM Consulting & Design, Matthew J. Mason, currently lives in Poughkeepsie, NY with his wife Sarah. Although he grew up in the States, he was born in Canada in 1975. He became a US citizen while attending High School in Kingston, NY. He is an accomplished bass player with a background in Piano. He has and still performs and records across the country with several musical groups. He and his wife also run the youth program at a local church that they regularly attend.

Matthew has also been professionally working in the paint and color industry since 1994 and has been trained by some of the best company's in the industry including Benjamin Moore Paints. He has been painting and faux finishing for over 12 years. MJM Consulting & Design was started in 2004.

He is very meticulous with painting and faux finishing work. His technical knowledge of paint products in general will guarantee you are getting the right job, the proper surface preparations and the best paint products. He uses premium paints on all of his jobs. He's an expert when it comes to painting and products. MJM offers free estimates, and guarantees a neat professional job. MJM also offers professional interior & exterior color consulting. During the years Matthew has studied and worked with color and has attended and became certified through multiple training seminars by well known companies from New York to California. Working with you and your particular tastes MJM can create an enjoyable work or living environment. MJM can help with as little as one room or a whole house with over 20 rooms including wall, ceiling, trim, closet and accent colors. Matthew enjoys and takes pride in his color and painting work because choosing the right colors and getting a quality paint job are important.
